TO JOIN RETUP:

For those of you who are interested in joining a discussion and news group for retired United pilots, go to:

http://groups.yahoo.com/memwiz

You will be asked for some information to create a free Yahoo identity and password. You SHOULD do this, since
this will enable you to go to the RETUP website to have access to the message archives, to photos, files, our membership database, and to polls. Without a Yahoo identity (we're not talking about a Yahoo email address), you will be UNABLE to view our message archives.

You will also be asked for an email address at which you will receive messages that appear on RETUP. You can use your normal email address or create a free Yahoo email address. We suggest that you use your normal email address, because you probably check it regularly for incoming messages. You needn't worry about getting spam or junk mail from RETUP or Yahoo if you use your normal email address.

Once you've established a Yahoo identity and password, you'll always be able to change the email address to which you want RETUP messages sent. Just
click on "Edit Membership" on the RETUP website at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/retup

If you tire of getting these RETUP emails, you can choose NOT to receive email messages. In that case, you would simply go to the RETUP website to read the messages. Also, you can easily unsubscribe at any time if you no longer want to be a member of RETUP.

Please email us enough information to identify you as a retired United pilot (eg: full name, file number, domiciles, date retired, equipment flown).
